Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a Vice President, US Business Development (VP, USBD) to lead its US Business Development organization. This executive will be responsible for capturing major programs, franchise opportunities, and driving strategic growth across the Department of Defense and US Federal Government agencies. The role involves establishing and executing the company’s US growth strategy, overseeing the entire business development lifecycle across various domains including air, ground, maritime, ISR, and emerging technologies. The VP, USBD will ensure alignment between Teledyne FLIR Defense strategy, product roadmaps, and customer requirements to position the company for success in large-scale, competitive pursuits. This position requires a proven leader with deep expertise in US government acquisition, strong customer relationships, and a demonstrated track record of leading complex captures and high-performing Business Development (BD) organizations. The role is based at and serves as the site lead for Teledyne FLIR Defense’s Arlington, VA office, requiring significant engagement with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. This position can work remotely, provided the employee resides within a commutable driving distance of the Arlington, VA office.
