About The Position

This is an opportunity for a risk professional to join the Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. (CGMI) CRO team. The team’s responsibilities are distinct and broad. Primarily, the team is responsible for the direct risk oversight across all risk stripes (market, credit, operational, etc.) for the CGMI legal entity. This entity is a key part of Citi's operations, acting as a US broker-dealer, a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), and a Swap Dealer. In addition to this direct oversight, our team has a wider mandate. We are responsible for the centralized risk governance for all of Citi's registered Swap Dealer (SD) and Security-Based Swap Dealer (SBSD) entities. This structure ensures a consistent and robust risk framework across these critical, regulated entities. As a Vice President, you will support the CRO in initiatives that enhance risk management across this scope. This role offers a chance to gain insight into the management of a bank/broker-dealer, with exposure to key regulators like the SEC, FINRA, and CFTC. You will develop a functional understanding of market, credit, operational, and liquidity risks, and the regulatory frameworks that govern our business. Our team is at the forefront of modernizing risk management by integrating advanced technology into our core processes. We are actively leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, improve analytical capabilities, and automate reporting. As a member of our team, you will be expected to contribute to this transformation, identifying opportunities to apply AI and helping to build a more data-driven and forward-looking risk function.
