About The Position

As a Senior Broker, you will be a key member of the Central Region Commercial Broking team, responsible for delivering tailored risk solutions to mid-market clients. You will collaborate with Account Executives and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute broking strategies that align with client needs and market conditions. This role offers a unique chance to work directly under a seasoned leader in the Central Region Commercial Broking team, where strategic thinking and client-centric innovation are at the forefront. Requirements

  • Over 10 years of proven expertise in the insurance industry, including 3+ years in commercial broking, ideally within Property & Casualty (P&C) segments.
  • In-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance products.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Strong capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence and a passion for continuous learning.
  • RIBO licence (or equivalent) is required or must be obtained within 3 months.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional designations such as CIP or CRM are considered valuable asset.

Responsibilities

  • Management of a complex portfolio, including placement and service, as well as ensuring client deliverables are maintained.
  • Analyze client's specific risk exposure and detail coverage requirements.
  • Prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
  • Negotiate with underwriters to establish the best conditions in terms of premiums and coverage.
  • Follow up with the insurer to confirm that the conditions of the negotiated contract are respected.
  • Approve documentation for new contracts, policy changes, additions, deletions and renewals.
  • Build contacts and maintain relationships within the underwriting community with the goal of obtaining the best premiums and coverage for Aon customers.
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings.
  • Other related tasks as needed.
