About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Scrum Leader to join our Managed Account Solutions platform team. This role is located in Berwyn, PA or New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact by optimizing delivery, proactively managing flow, creatively solving problems, and navigating complex organizational relationships. You will ensure Scrum principles and practices are followed, and Scrum team events occur, are productive, and kept within timeboxes. You will remove impediments identified by teams and track and resolve team dependencies. You will facilitate and guide teams to deliver expected outcomes with high quality, including helping teams focus on creating increments of value and achieving daily and iteration goals. You will work with Product Owners, Portfolio and Product leaders to manage the program backlog, support healthy team dynamics, and foster innovation and implementation of strategic solutions. You will coach teams and stakeholders on prioritization, commitment management, and making delivery trade-offs visible when priorities change. You will use delivery metrics and flow data to identify improvement opportunities, improve predictability, and support data-driven decision making. You will drive continuous improvement by fostering accountability, transparency, effective retrospectives, and a culture of learning and adaptation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Scrum Master role for software development teams for large initiatives.
  • Knowledge of various Agile approaches including Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, and Spotify.
  • Experience with Agile techniques and tools such as User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and translate ambiguous topics into actionable plans while working with multiple business, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous technical experience is preferred.
  • Preferred Agile certifications including CSM, PSM, or SAFe SSM.
