About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, SAR Investigations II to join our FIU team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you’ll make an impact by conducting proactive investigations to address money laundering and terrorist financing concerns in alignment with the National Priorities issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). You will analyze complex transactional data, perform in-depth research, decision cases stemming from proactive investigations, draft Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and make recommendations to escalate concerns to internal stakeholders. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of global financial crimes money flows. You will also draft timely, error-free SARs and No SARs that follow FinCEN regulations and the team’s internal guidance and policies. You will manage a portfolio of case work in an organized manner with the ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines. This team member must also effectively communicate and develop relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate on significant investigative matters. The team member will be expected to apply an understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the USA PATRIOT Act and apply it to the banking products and services offered by the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate Degree in Law, Business, Intelligence Studies, or International Relations preferred.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience working for a financial institution in an AML investigations function, particularly in the correspondent banking space, and/or ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) certification and intelligence work in the private or public sector preferred.

Responsibilities
