About The Position

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Vice President for its Restructuring Team located in New York, NY. Vice Presidents play a central role in leading transaction execution, managing day-to-day client engagement, and overseeing junior team members across complex, high-profile restructuring and financing assignments. The role offers significant responsibility in driving analyses, shaping strategic recommendations, and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated experience leading execution of complex transactions
• Strong expertise in corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
• Proven ability to manage teams and mentor junior professionals
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage workstreams and client relationships in high-pressure situations
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills
• Strong work ethic and stamina
• High level of professionalism, maturity, and sound judgment
• Candidates should possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to independently manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• The role requires sound judgment on complex financial and strategic matters, along with the ability to communicate effectively with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading the execution of restructuring, liability management and financing transactions
• Managing financial and valuation analyses
• Driving diligence and managing overall process execution
• Coordinating with clients, creditors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders
• Developing and delivering client presentations
• Contributing to origination and business development efforts in partnership with senior bankers
• Mentoring and developing Analysts and Associates
