The Vice President, Resident Empowerment is responsible for leading execution, operational strategy implementation, and performance management for designated service areas within Atlanta Housing’s Resident Empowerment Division. This role ensures excellence in program administration, regulatory compliance, fiscal stewardship, and measurable outcomes that advance resident stability, economic mobility and community engagement. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Resident Empowerment, the Vice President is responsible for implementing divisional priorities and driving consistent, high-quality execution across programs serving families, youth, seniors, and individuals. The Vice President provides direct supervision to designated service area leaders and is accountable for building team capacity, strengthening operational discipline, and ensuring alignment with the strategic direction established by the Senior Vice President. This role requires a balance of leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong emphasis on accountability, performance outcomes, and continuous improvement. The Vice President provides direct oversight and supervision of designated Resident Empowerment service areas, including: Accessibility, Family Success, Intergenerational Engagement. In addition, the Vice President provides leadership support, coordination, and operational alignment across related service areas, including: Program Administration and Operations, Choice Neighborhoods (service alignment functions), Resident Engagement and Initiatives. In this capacity, the Vice President ensures alignment of program execution, supports cross-functional coordination, and reinforces operational consistency across the division, while maintaining primary accountability for assigned service areas and operating without direct supervisory responsibility for supporting service areas.
