About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Product Owner to join our Global Clearing Platform team. In this role, you’ll make an impact by defining and communicating product vision and strategy by collaborating with stakeholders to align with business goals and client needs. You will prioritize product features and manage the product backlog to ensure the delivery of high-value solutions, demonstrating expertise in Agile methodologies. You will lead cross-functional teams in the execution of product development, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. You will analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously enhance product offerings and maintain competitive advantage. You will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Agile Practices framework, supporting BNY's strategic pillars. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on product progress and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically, 6-10 years of experience in product management or related roles, with a focus on technology-driven environments.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and manage a product backlog.
  • Analytical skills to assess market trends and customer feedback, driving product innovation and improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification is advantageous.
