About The Position

The Vice President, Product Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth, market adoption, and portfolio performance through product marketing leadership. This role leads upstream and downstream product marketing activities, translating customer, market, competitive, clinical, and reimbursement insights into product strategies, portfolio priorities, positioning, pricing, and commercialization plans that strengthen ProSomnus leadership in sleep medicine. As a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President, Product Marketing partners closely with Sales, Clinical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, and leadership stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, optimize portfolio performance, accelerate market adoption, and deliver successful product launches that drive profitable growth and market share expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, product management, commercialization, portfolio strategy, market development, or commercial leadership within healthcare markets.
  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience leading product marketing and cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market adoption, customer acquisition, and market share expansion.
  • Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, agencies or members of Communication skills – ability to communicate key analyses, findings, learnings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to evaluate a wide range of inputs, and translate key findings and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Understand coding, coverage and reimbursement and how market access drives the value proposition, pricing and ROI for medical devices.
  • Understand the medical device environment in terms of FDA clearances, scientific claims, and the nuances of commercializing a new medical devices.
  • Generally has an orientation for gathering feedback, input and requirements from customers and their patients, in the context of the regulated environment.
  • Establishes clear goals and pathways for achieving those goals. Has the ability to understand tradeoffs (e.g. conjoint studies or thinking) to develop priorities in the context of strategic goals.
  • Displays original thinking and creativity, meets challenges with resourcefulness
  • Ability to establish a pathway and communicate the merits of the pathway to build consensus. The ability to manage up and get the most out of team members and subordinates. And the ability to work with leadership to help the program outperform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer adoption.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth initiatives.
  • Establish product positioning, value propositions, pricing strategies, and commercialization approaches that differentiate ProSomnus in the marketplace.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to define customer segmentation, market priorities, commercial value propositions, and growth strategies.
  • Align product marketing priorities and portfolio investments with corporate growth objectives.
  • Lead market research, customer segmentation, competitive intelligence, and voice-of-customer initiatives.
  • Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into product roadmap recommendations and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with R&D, Clinical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs to prioritize innovations.
  • Develop business cases, pricing strategies, portfolio plans, and investment recommendations.
  • Lead commercialization planning and execution for new products and portfolio expansion initiatives.
  • Develop launch strategies, sales enablement tools, messaging frameworks, and commercialization plans.
  • Define product positioning, messaging architecture, customer segmentation, launch priorities, and commercialization requirements.
  • Monitor product performance and optimize lifecycle strategies.
  • Partner with Clinical and Reimbursement teams to expand coverage, coding utilization, and payer adoption.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare systems, sleep physicians, dental professionals, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support domestic and international market expansion initiatives.
  • Establish KPIs related to revenue growth, product adoption, market share, customer acquisition, portfolio performance, and commercialization effectiveness.
  • Utilize customer, market, clinical, competitive, and financial data to guide decisions.
  • Present portfolio performance and strategic recommendations to leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Manages subordinate employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
