About The Position

The Vice President of Technical Services (“VPTS”) is responsible for establishing, implementing and enforcing all technical policies related to the sale, use and installation of Target Market Roofing & Waterproofing (“TMRW”) products and systems. By balancing sales potential and opportunities against associated potential risks, the VPTS helps insure the roofing division’s long term, sustainable growth. Base salary will range from 160K - 195K based on experience. Postiion is also bonus eligible. As a member of TMRW’s Management Team, the VPTS assists in the development and execution of the business unit’s strategy.

Requirements

  • excellent supervisory, communication, organizational and writing skills
  • knowledge of the roofing industry
  • willing to travel
  • At least a 4-year degree in Engineering, Building Construction or Architecture
  • Technical knowledge with at least 5 years of commercial roofing and waterproofing.
  • Ability to travel
  • Intermediate level competency in word, excel, power point
  • Valid driver’s license
  • must reside in the area

Responsibilities

  • The leadership and management of the Technical Services Department staff.
  • Is identified internally and externally as the face of Sika Corporation’s Roofing Division
  • Provide technical consultation and solutions internally and externally
  • Draft and maintain technical information and policies
  • Provide concise reporting of warranty claims and assist with dispute resolutions
  • Make well-informed decisions to support the growth and overall health of the TMRW business.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of teamwork within the entire Technical Department, and with all other departments within the company.
