About The Position

As a member of Cobb's leadership team, the Vice President of Service Operations provides strategic leadership for service operations, inventory control, warehouse operations, technical training, and operational systems. This role is responsible for building a high-performing service organization through data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, continuous process improvement, automation, and accountability, resulting in improved customer satisfaction, employee engagement, operational performance, and long-term profitability. Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for inventory management, control, and accuracy across all locations.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for warehouse operations, inventory movement, receiving, shipping, and logistics.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for cycle count programs, inventory audits, and reconciliation processes.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for automation, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for performance metrics, operational reporting, and inventory-related KPIs.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for vendor relationships, facility operations, and related projects.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for achievement of inventory accuracy and operational efficiency goals.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for service department profitability, growth, productivity, and technician utilization.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for workforce planning, recruiting, hiring, training, and succession development.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for technical training and professional development programs.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for service pricing strategies, operational costs, and contract renewal performance.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for adoption and optimization of operational systems and business intelligence tools.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for development of business plans and operational strategies based on performance metrics and financial analysis.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for workflow efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for key performance indicators, customer satisfaction, and operational benchmarks.
