About The Position

ADP is hiring a Vice President of Sales. This role provides overall direction and leadership to sales associates to achieve sales goals, expecting excellence and professionalism from the team with the highest levels of integrity. The Vice President will be part of the Division management team and manage their team to meet the Division's revenue, profit, and retention goals. Requirements

  • 8-10 years total sales experience plus substantial senior sales management experience, with a proven ability to manage a large sales team.
  • Recognized as an individual with outstanding leadership skills, professionalism, and business planning capability.
  • Partnered with General Management and Operations to achieve sales, revenue, profit, and client retention objectives.
  • Military Experience is considered acceptable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow ADP's Business While Growing Your Team's: Work with the team to attain or exceed 100% of assigned sales quota within the required product mix. Prepare a business plan to identify how the area/regions will achieve assigned sales goals and work closely with direct reports to implement it. Manage the area's net sales expense (NSE), direct and indirect selling and set-up expense budget objectives.
  • Grow Your People: Provide coaching, counseling, and direction to direct reports for their professional growth and development. Manage the implementation and execution of Career Development and succession plans, ensuring career pathing opportunities are communicated and building for future strength. Obtain written action plans from sales management to improve the performance of sales personnel under desired quota levels. Responsible for human resource management activities such as maintaining proper staffing levels, attaining desired employee retention rates, harmonious employee relations, monitoring performance management plans, and incorporating excellent employee communication channels. Assure Divisional EEO/Affirmative Action Plans and goals are attained through proactive involvement in recruiting, selection, and promotion processes.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with other functional areas to ensure the smooth implementation of sales.
  • Report and Help to Improve: Prepare a Monthly Situation Report following the designated format established by the Divisional Vice President of Sales. Establish a Prospective Business Report or Master Prospect List accurately forecasting accounts that will close. Review Corporate lead generating activities by region, determine region's results, and provide feedback, results, and suggestions to the Division Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Bring to the attention of Sales and Marketing the needs of the marketplace and provide input to groups such as Sales Operations related to issues that need to be addressed, and recommend solutions.
