About The Position

The Vice President of Quality (VP, Quality) reports directly to the President or Senior Vice President of Operations and provides strategic leadership for Inpria’s quality organization, quality systems, and company-wide quality initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing a quality strategy that supports Inpria’s business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. The VP of Quality oversees quality management systems, customer quality, quality governance, risk management, and compliance activities across research and development, new product introduction (NPI), technology transfer, commercialization, and manufacturing operations. As Inpria continues to expand its Metal Oxide Resist (MOR) business and manufacturing capabilities, this position drives continuous improvement of quality systems and organizational capabilities to enhance product quality, strengthen customer confidence, mitigate business risks, and support sustainable growth. The VP of Quality collaborates closely with Technical Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support organizations to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement while serving as a key advisor to executive leadership on quality performance, customer satisfaction, and business risk. The position oversees a team of approximately 10-15 employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field (Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering); advanced degree (MS, PhD) preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 15 years of progressively responsible quality management experience within the semiconductor, chemical, or advanced materials industry, with a preference for experience with organometallic chemistry, including significant senior leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary QA/QC organizations and building quality management capacity in a growing business.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality management systems, audits, regulatory compliance, risk management, CAPA, and change control.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining and continually improving established quality systems for R&D, new product development, scale-up, product commercialization, and manufacturing.
  • Strong customer engagement, executive communication, problem-solving, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with global operations is preferred with an emphasis on Asian countries.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company-wide quality strategy aligned with Inpria’s business objectives, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Lead and develop the Quality organization, including organizational capability building, succession planning, leadership development, and talent management.
  • Expand, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) supporting research, development, new product introduction (NPI), technology transfer, commercialization, and manufacturing activities.
  • Lead quality planning, risk management, and governance processes across product development, technology transfer, scale-up, commercialization, and manufacturing operations.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer quality processes, including customer audits, complaint management, corrective actions, customer quality reviews, and customer-driven continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Technical Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customer Support organizations to resolve quality issues, improve product performance, and ensure reliable product supply and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead quality readiness and approval activities for NPI, product qualification, scale-up, technology transfer, and commercialization to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, regulatory obligations, and other applicable quality standards; oversee CAPA, nonconformance management, supplier quality, change control, audit programs, and quality performance metrics.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement while providing regular updates to executive leadership on quality performance, business risks, and strategic improvement initiatives.
