And you’ll get to practice your passion in a non-profit, mission-driven organization that’s known for the highest level of care in our communities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute a comprehensive Information Services strategy that aligns with broader Information Technology initiatives and with the organization’s strategic goals and healthcare delivery needs. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Information Services department, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of all clinical and administrative information systems. Establish performance metrics and service-level agreements to ensure optimal support for associates across the organization. Manage the Information Services budget and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective use of technology investments while meeting organizational needs. Work closely with clinical, administrative, and operational leaders to understand their technology needs and pain points. Prioritize and implement solutions that improve patient care delivery, streamline operations, and enhance overall associate satisfaction. Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication. Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System. Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Demonstrated ability to provide technology vision and leadership in developing roadmaps that support current and future business needs. Strong understanding of information governance, data privacy, and risk management principles, with the ability to balance accessibility, security, and regulatory compliance. In-depth understanding of healthcare IT systems and infrastructure, including proficiency in EHR systems, networks, and cloud computing, as well as the ability to manage complex integrations between clinical, administrative, and financial applications. Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across departments. Skilled at building consensus for technology initiatives and coordinating with clinical and business leaders to drive projects forward. Proven skill in managing large-scale projects and driving change management in a healthcare setting. Able to juggle multiple initiatives, ensure timely delivery while meeting quality standards, and guide the organization through technology changes and process improvements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required; an advanced degree such as a Master’s (MBA, MIS, or equivalent) is highly preferred. 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment. Experience should include oversight of technology operations and teams in organizations of similar scale. Experience in post-acute, long-term care, or multi-entity healthcare environments preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and experience implementing compliance programs or policies that meet these standards. Certification or training in healthcare compliance or security is preferred. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, including experience in strategic planning, project management, and steering cross-functional committees or governance teams
