About The Position

The Vice President of Home First will oversee operational functions in both Georgia (SOURCE and CCSP EDWP) and North Carolina (NCTracks), including but not limited to meeting budgetary requirements, compliance with regulatory agencies, human resources management, information systems, and the planning and coordination of resources, and oversee individual agency leadership in meeting division goals. Reports to COO of Care Integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum.
  • Knowledge of Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program operations, state and federal regulations and compliance.
  • Three years of experience in healthcare and financial management operations.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Leads Home First management team.
  • Monitors financial performance of the division and ensures that assigned offices meet budgetary goals.
  • Maintains and oversees census-to-budget goals in assigned offices.
  • Ensures that assigned offices’ staffing patterns meet budgetary requirements and ensures that all staff receives appropriate orientation and ongoing training.
  • Responsible for oversight of overall clinical performance of assigned offices and ensures that assigned offices are meeting company standards.
  • Monitors the overall care and services provided by offices by conducting supervisory visits to contracted facilities and member homes.
  • Prepares managers to interact with employees by recommending, developing and conducting training programs; reviewing proposed decisions and actions.
  • Resolves manager and employee dissatisfaction by investigating complaints and concerns; evaluating and offering possible courses of action; providing advice, guidance and direction.
  • Participates in the process of monitoring and ensuring employee, customer and community satisfaction.
  • Maintains records and oversees human resource practices by documenting incidents and resolutions of problems. Consults with the partner services department when needed and ensures compliance with company HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining opinions from legal counsel; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Routine visits and pm visits to agencies to ensure office execution of Corporate Policies and Procedures.
  • Participates in the implementation of organization-wide Performance Improvement.
  • Participates in the process of monitoring and ensuring employee satisfaction. Follows up on employee complaints and works with the Administrator on resolution of issues.
  • Works collaboratively with management team regarding organization-wide planning.
  • Participates in the development and revision of agency policies and procedures.
  • Directs community relations for EDWP program, serves as a representative of SOURCE and CCSP on civic and professional boards, directs the SOURCE and CCSP program publicity, and serves as the SOURCE and CCSP program spokesperson.
  • Ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities for the SOURCE program.
  • Communicates well with clients, vendors, fellow partners, visitors and family members providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude.
  • Assist, if needed, in center/agency surveys (Licensure / JCAHO) and any subsequently required reports.
  • Attend and participate in continuing educational programs to keep abreast of changes in your field as well as to maintain current license/certification, as required.
  • Attend and participate in mandatory in-services.
  • Honor patients/residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints.
  • Comply with corporate compliance program.
  • Report job-related functions/tasks that involve occupational hazards.
  • Follow established safety regulations, to include fire protection & prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.
  • Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.
  • Administratively responsible for ensuring Core Values are presented and discussed with all partners on a daily basis.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
  • Must be well organized and able to set priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with frequent travel.
