About The Position

Full Spectrum Search Group is seeking a Vice President of Finance for one of the largest and most respected post-acute operators in the country. This role is based in Dallas, TX, and will support a Texas portfolio of over 100 facilities. It offers a "regional CFO" scope of responsibility, with the opportunity to grow the accounting and finance team and build infrastructure for an expanding footprint. The VP will be the senior financial voice to operational leadership across the Texas portfolio, with direct visibility to executive decision-making. The company is known nationally for its financial and clinical outcomes and is recognized as a prestigious operator.

Requirements

  • 10+ years leading finance and accounting, including real-time in senior-level operational finance.
  • Direct, operator-side experience inside a healthcare organization is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain financial concepts to operators who do not live in the numbers.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX.
  • Pre-employment criminal background screening required.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site healthcare operator experience preferred.
  • SNF or broader post-acute finance experience strongly preferred; other healthcare multi-site finance experience will be considered.
  • Experience building or materially growing an accounting or finance team preferred.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Workday Financials is a plus.
  • Hospital district relationship experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the finance seat operators actually call, sitting shoulder to shoulder with market and facility leadership across Texas, connecting the numbers to the decisions and care being delivered.
  • Own the day-to-day accounting function inside the Dallas service center, including the close cycle through year-end, in line with GAAP and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean balance sheet and tight reconciliations, with an internal control environment that holds up under scrutiny.
  • Grow and develop the Dallas-based accounting and finance team, and build processes that scale as the portfolio expands.
  • Own the forecast, define key metrics, and drive multi-year planning for the Texas portfolio.
  • Build reporting and dashboards to show operators how reimbursement is moving, labor is trending, and what is driving performance.
  • Build financial models for acquisitions, hospital partnerships, integrations, and other growth initiatives across Texas.
  • Serve as the finance representative to hospital district partners, external auditors, regulatory agencies, and consultants.
  • Ensure the portfolio is audit-ready and compliant with state and federal healthcare and reimbursement requirements.
  • Drive automation and standardization across the finance organization and partner with sister service centers for consistency.
