Vice President of Finance | CFO Track

Atrium Management CompanyOrlando, FL
$175,000 - $200,000Onsite

About The Position

Atrium is seeking a high-performing finance leader who wants to grow into a CFO role—and help build the financial infrastructure that will support Atrium's next stage of growth. This isn't a traditional accounting position. We're seeking someone who can initially take ownership of financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, budgeting and financial analysis—and grow into a strategic partner to ownership across a diverse and growing real estate organization. As VP of Finance, you'll have direct access to ownership and the opportunity to influence the direction of a rapidly growing real estate organization. You'll also gain exposure to property management, multifamily real estate, development, acquisitions, financing and capital allocation. The long-term opportunity is clear: perform at a high level, help us build the financial infrastructure for our next stage of growth, and earn the opportunity to ultimately step into the CFO role as Atrium continues to grow.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience with increasing responsibility and leadership scope, including significant experience with financial reporting, forecasting, modeling and strategic analysis.
  • Experience in real estate, multifamily, property management, development, private equity, investment management, or another complex multi-entity operating environment is highly valued.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing a finance/accounting team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate financial performance, risks, opportunities and recommendations to ownership, executive leadership, lenders and other stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
  • Must be able to work from Atrium’s corporate office in Orlando.

Nice To Haves

  • This is a CFO-track position. We're hiring a VP of Finance because we believe our next CFO should have the opportunity to build the finance function alongside Atrium's growth—not simply inherit a finished department.
  • Our VP of Finance must be analytical, commercially-minded, comfortable challenging assumptions, capable of confidently communicating with owners, investors, lenders, and Atrium’s leadership team.
  • This role is not for someone looking to inherit a mature finance division. It's for someone who wants to help build one.

  • Own company-wide budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning
  • Lead consolidated financial reporting and executive reporting
  • Establish and monitor financial KPIs across operating companies and real estate investments
  • Develop long-range financial models and annual operating plans

  • Evaluate capital allocation decisions, investment opportunities, and financing alternatives
  • Partner with ownership on debt, equity and financing strategies
  • Manage banking, lending and financing relationships
  • Lead, develop and scale the accounting/finance team
  • Improve financial systems, processes and internal controls
  • Build scalable reporting infrastructure to support continued growth
  • Partner directly with ownership and senior leadership on financial strategy
  • Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow
  • Translate financial data into actionable business recommendations
  • Progressively assume broader responsibilities as Atrium grows
