The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as the organization's senior finance leader. This role is accountable for financial strategy, planning, analysis, compliance governance, internal control framework, and fiscal stewardship for a $25M+ operating budget and a $60M asset portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Finance will act as a strategic advisor on financial sustainability, scenario planning, budget strategy, risk management, and optimized financial systems and operations. The position leads organization-wide financial planning and analysis, annual and mid-year budget processes, dashboard development, financial reporting, and finance systems improvement. The Vice President will translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations to support organizational decision-making, long-term sustainability, and the Lawyers' Committee's civil rights mission. This role directly supervises the Finance Manager, who oversees accounting operations, monthly close coordination, internal controls execution, and day-to-day outsourced accounting vendor delivery.
