About The Position

Nexus Family Healing is looking to hire a Vice President of Facilities and Property Management to join our fantastic team! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or similar property management related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting multi-site and geographically diverse properties
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience
  • Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements
  • Must have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their unique needs and challenges
  • Must be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values

Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization’s enterprise-wide property management strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and growth plans.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable operating model for a multi-site portfolio, balancing standardization with site-level needs.
  • Set and uphold standards for facility operations, safety, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the implementation of systems, processes, and technologies that drive consistency, efficiency, and performance visibility.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for property operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capability within property management teams and support leadership development.
  • Partner with executive leadership to guide facility strategy, capital planning, and enterprise decision-making.
  • Direct property management operations across all Nexus sites and affiliates.
  • Lead strategies that optimize people, processes, technology, and financial resources.
  • Oversee vendor management, contracts, and third-party service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead facility-related risk management, including emergency preparedness and life-safety readiness.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated, high-quality service delivery.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to resolve operational issues and advance organizational initiatives.
  • Champion innovation in operations and services, ensuring alignment with Nexus mission, vision, and values.
  • Oversee financial performance related to property operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead expense and capital planning processes to meet financial goals.
  • Develop long-range capital strategies and investment recommendations in partnership with Finance and Executive Leadership.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of property assets to optimize long-term value and performance.
  • Lead capital project prioritization and resource allocation processes.
  • Provide strategic updates and performance reporting to Boards of Directors and executive leadership.
  • Serve as a key resource to governing bodies, committees, and the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Support enterprise decision-making related to property strategy, capital investments, and organizational growth.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Life Safety Codes.
  • Oversee staff training on emergency and safety procedures and participate in safety governance activities.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards and ensure adherence to Nexus policies and treatment philosophies.
  • Model ethical conduct, professionalism, and appropriate boundaries at all times.
