Vice President of Estimating-Mechanical Construction
About The Position
A mechanical construction company with over 100 years of experience and more than 700 office professionals and union trades workers is hiring an estimating executive. The company provides turnkey solutions for HVAC refrigeration, plumbing, metal fabrication, and specialty mechanical projects, primarily serving healthcare, data-center, sports and entertainment, and higher education markets. The Vice President of Estimating will lead and energize the estimating process across project bids, developing competitive, strategic proposals to win work and support company growth. The role will establish and strengthen estimating practices, champion innovative approaches for design-build and energy projects, and use insights from past projects to inform forward-looking decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience estimating HVAC and/or plumbing projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software and related systems, with strong expertise in Quick Pen.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to support a results-driven, high-performance environment.
