About The Position

Chestnut Hill College is seeking an accomplished, strategic, and collaborative enrollment leader to serve as Vice President of Enrollment Management & Communications. Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the President’s Cabinet, the Vice President provides executive leadership for the College’s comprehensive enrollment and communications strategies and is accountable for advancing institutional goals related to recruitment, enrollment, institutional visibility, and net tuition revenue, while partnering with campus leaders to support retention and student success. The Vice President leads an integrated, data-informed approach to enrollment across Undergraduate, Graduate, Transfer, Continuing and Professional Studies, and international populations. The role oversees Admissions, Financial Aid, Global Education, and Marketing and Communications, while partnering closely with Student Success, Academic Affairs, Finance, Student Life, and Information Technology to strengthen the enrollment pipeline, improve student persistence, identify market opportunities, and support the long-term financial sustainability of the College. The successful candidate will be a visible, innovative, and mission-centered leader who can translate enrollment data and market trends into action; build and develop high-performing teams; communicate effectively with diverse constituencies; and bring creativity, urgency, sound judgment, and accountability to the College’s enrollment and communications priorities. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education enrollment management, including substantial responsibility for recruitment, admissions, enrollment strategy, and supervision of professional staff.
Demonstrated record of developing and executing enrollment strategies and achieving measurable results across multiple student populations and/or academic markets.
Knowledge of current best practices in enrollment management, admissions, and retention, and demonstrated experience supporting the success of a diverse student population.
Experience with recruitment funnels, enrollment forecasting, data analytics, budget management, strategic marketing and communications, and enrollment technology.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial aid strategy and its relationship to enrollment, affordability, institutional aid utilization, and institutional revenue.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex enrollment, market, and financial information into clear recommendations and action plans.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage change, establish accountability, and build effective partnerships across organizational boundaries.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, faculty, staff, students, families, and external partners.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in higher education, enrollment management, business, marketing, public administration, or a related field.
Senior-level enrollment leadership experience with responsibility across multiple student populations, including undergraduate, graduate, transfer, adult or continuing education, and international recruitment.
Experience using CRM, predictive analytics, digital recruitment, market research, and other contemporary enrollment technologies to improve recruitment and retention outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership or oversight of a higher education financial aid function, including familiarity with federal, state, and institutional financial aid requirements.
Prior experience in a private, mission-driven, or tuition-dependent higher education environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and assess a comprehensive enrollment management strategy aligned with the College's mission, academic priorities, financial goals, and long-term sustainability.
Collaborate with Student Success and other institutional partners to establish and advance enrollment, retention, and student success goals across Undergraduate, Graduate, Transfer, Continuing and Professional Studies, and international populations.
Advise the President and Cabinet on enrollment performance, forecasts, market trends, demographic shifts, risks, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
Partner with Academic Affairs and other institutional leaders to identify opportunities for program growth, emerging markets, partnerships, and new student pipelines.
Lead recruitment and admissions strategy across the full enrollment funnel, including inquiry, application, admission, deposit, enrollment, yield, and melt.
Direct recruitment marketing and communications strategy, including recruitment messaging, digital outreach, lead generation, market positioning, and communications that effectively articulate College programs and opportunities to prospective students and families.
Partner with Student Success, Academic Affairs, Student Life, faculty, and other campus partners to develop and advance institutional retention and student success strategies.
Use enrollment, retention, and persistence data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring targeted intervention.
Provide strategic oversight of Financial Aid and partner with Finance on enrollment and net tuition revenue projections, financial aid strategy, affordability, institutional aid utilization, and enrollment mix.
Establish a data-informed enrollment culture through forecasting, funnel and yield analysis, dashboards, market research, benchmarking, and performance reporting.
Oversee the effective use of CRM and enrollment technologies and collaborate with Information Technology to strengthen data integrity, reporting, automation, and process efficiency.
Develop and manage Enrollment Management budgets and evaluate recruitment, marketing, travel, and other investments for effectiveness and return on investment.
Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and professional development for Enrollment Management and Communications staff, including leaders responsible for Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate and Accelerated Adult Admissions, Transfer Admissions, Financial Aid, Global Education, Marketing and Communications, and enrollment support functions, while establishing clear performance expectations and accountability.
Oversee the College’s broader marketing and communications strategy, including institutional branding, digital communications, public relations, web and social media presence, and other communications that strengthen the College’s visibility and reputation.
Facilitate communication and cooperation across Enrollment Management and Communications functions and with academic and administrative units, while representing Enrollment Management and Communications on the President’s Cabinet and with other institutional stakeholders.
Ensure enrollment practices are student-centered, operationally effective, and aligned with institutional policies, applicable requirements, and the College's mission and values.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the President.
