As the Vice President of Engineering at SpyCloud, you will lead the technology teams building our cybersecurity solutions, guiding the organization through the transition to innovative agentic development practices—without sacrificing scale, quality, or security. Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of engineering leadership experience, ideally in the cybersecurity or identity industry.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex software products.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse engineering team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in driving technical innovation and embracing emerging technologies.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams through the transition to agentic development practices without sacrificing scale, quality, or security.
- Experience developing and enforcing an AI Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) or comparable framework governing AI-assisted software delivery.

- Prior experience as a Vice President or similar executive role in engineering is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy aligned with the company's vision and business goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end development and release of SpyCloud's cybersecurity solutions, ensuring high-quality and high-speed delivery.
- Set technical direction and lead the engineering organization in adopting new technologies and ways of working, fostering a culture where innovation, speed, and agility are paramount.
- Lead the team's transition to agentic development practices and develop, implement, and enforce adherence to an AI Development Lifecycle AI-DLC that accelerates delivery while preserving scale, quality, and security.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring SpyCloud's technology stack remains competitive and up-to-date.
- Lead efforts to enhance product scalability, performance, and reliability to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
- Cultivate a high-performing engineering organization where innovation and agility are the top priorities, empowering teams to experiment, adopt agentic practices, and move quickly.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for data security and privacy in product development.
- Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, compliance, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high product standards and reduce defects.
