Requirements

A 4 year degree is generally required, at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities

Oversee the engineering functions of the company and manage both internal and outside resources as required and prioritized.
Oversee industrial engineering efforts emphasizing cost reduction analysis and continuous improvement projects.
Oversee operation of all kilns.
Oversee the identification, development and periodic review of facility management activities in accordance with continuous improvement goals, or as necessary and required.
Responsible for the evaluation of proposed projects (i.e., ROI) including written documentation of the effectiveness of all facility and process changes after project completion.
Responsible for prioritizing projects in accordance with existing constraints involving executive management as required.
Supervise engineering projects to completion.
Supervise estimating department ensuring quotations are completed as per departmental established goals.
Supervise I.T. Department. Evaluates and approves all I.T. projects. Works with I.T. Director to maintain and improve computerized work system.
Responsible for coordinating periodic update of the costing system involving executive management as required.
Member of management review team.
Authorized as an officer of the company to execute legal documents on behalf of the company.
May be assigned any other miscellaneous duties as required by the QA Manager and/or executive management.
