About The Position

HiFyve is hiring a Vice President of Engineering and Operations! This executive leadership role will provide leadership for a North American business unit specializing in engineered-to-order industrial equipment and systems. The position requires full P&L responsibility, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance. The VP will develop and execute strategic business plans, lead commercial strategy, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to deliver complex capital equipment solutions. Key responsibilities include overseeing application engineering, product design, manufacturing, installation, and project execution, as well as driving operational excellence and establishing risk management processes. The role also involves supporting major customer negotiations, collaborating with global leadership, and leading high-performing teams. A strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, innovation, and continuous improvement is expected.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive executive leadership experience within engineered-to-order manufacturing or industrial equipment
  • Demonstrated success leading a business unit with full P&L responsibility
  • Strong background in industrial sales, engineering, manufacturing, and project execution
  • Experience leading complex capital equipment or engineered systems businesses
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
  • Strong financial, operational, and commercial leadership skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and sales
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
  • Experience with large industrial projects involving engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
  • Strong understanding of project risk management, contract administration, and operational planning
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions and global organizations
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30%, including domestic and international travel

Responsibilities
