Vice President of Consumer Lending
About The Position
The Vice President of Consumer Lending will be responsible for managing & directing Consumer Lending teams. This position will oversee processes for all consumer lending activities which include but are not limited to loan applications, underwriting, processing, closing, third-party vendor management, loan origination system configuration, and deploying internal credit risk controls, while allocating appropriate resources. The Vice President of Consumer Lending will ensure service directives are met while working to uncover additional opportunities to improve service to our internal and external members. The director will also drive strategic initiatives within their business line. This position will assist the EVP, Member Experience with planning and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 15 years of management experience, preferable in a credit union or financial institution with 10 years experience in Consumer Lending.
- Minimum 10 years of management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively across multifunctional teams.
- Must be bondable.
- Must have the legal authorization to work in the location where they apply.
