Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for a Vice President of Community Affairs to join our Executive Team. This is an executive-level position providing strategic leadership and oversight for Community Engagement and Public/Government Affairs functions. Specifically, the role is focused on advancing issues affecting the disability community, with a high degree of public-facing engagement and responsibility, including: Oversight for legislative & policy work Representation at state, community & company events Stakeholder engagement – funders, families, community partners Ongoing community relationship building & advocacy The Vice President of Community Affairs will focus on directing the community engagement department and initiatives, including Mill Levy programming, as well as overseeing the Director of Government Affairs and related disability policy and legislative research and advocacy. This role will collaborate closely with the communications team on public-affairs related communications projects, campaigns, public relations, and fundraising strategies to broaden the impact of programs. The environment is a hybrid work setting, working as needed in our Aurora office, and off-site locations. The position will require motor vehicle travel.
