Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from an ACOE-accredited program
- Active Texas optometry license with therapeutic privileges (or eligibility)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
- Familiarity with EHR systems
Nice To Haves
- knowledge of insurance billing/coding
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses
- Develop and implement clinical protocols, quality benchmarks, and compliance standards
- Mentor and elevate staff optometrists
- Champion clinical roundtables and advance technology adoption
- Partner with executive leaders on strategic growth and clinical KPIs
