About The Position

Studio Content Operations is seeking a Vice President of Media Operations to lead the next evolution of FOX Entertainment’s content supply chain, spanning content readiness, localization, QC, servicing, delivery, and AI-enabled workflow modernization. The Vice President, Media Operations will be responsible for building a faster, more scalable, and more technology-enabled media operation that can support increasing volume, more varied content formats, and greater operational complexity without relying on headcount growth as the primary solution. The mandate is clear: simplify the operating model, reduce manual coordination, modernize workflows, and use AI, automation, and better systems to increase capacity, speed, quality, and visibility across the end-to-end content pipeline. This role requires you to be comfortable with disruption, able to challenge legacy ways of working, and capable of moving teams from manual execution toward technology-enabled operating discipline. You will bring strong judgment, operational rigor, high standards, and the ability to lead through ambiguity while keeping the business moving. This is a senior leadership role for you to set context, make hard tradeoffs, build alignment, and deliver measurable operating leverage. Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace for a minimum of four (4) days per week is an essential function of the position. The selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in media operations, digital supply chain, content distribution, localization, or related functions
  • Experience leading complex global operations with accountability for delivery performance, budgets, vendors, systems, and cross-functional execution
  • Experience leading teams through significant operational, organizational, or technology-driven change
  • Experience evaluating technology vendors, platform capabilities, integration requirements, and production readiness
  • Proven track record in redesigning workflows, implementing technology-enabled operating models, and driving measurable efficiency gains
  • Strong understanding of workflow automation, AI-enabled operational tooling, and modern content operations systems
  • Deep understanding of media localization, distribution, rights management, QC, servicing, and delivery operations
  • Understanding of operational and compliance considerations related to AI-assisted media workflows
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, orchestration platforms, automation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop operating models
  • Familiarity with global content workflows, international delivery requirements, distribution windows, and evolving content formats
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in a fast-moving, matrixed environment
  • Ability to evaluate where AI can create real operating leverage across media workflows, including metadata, QC, localization, reporting, asset readiness, and delivery validation
  • Ability to distinguish practical, scalable technology from demo-stage capability
  • Knowledge of APIs, cloud-based infrastructure, media asset management systems, rights management systems, and enterprise workflow platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting international distribution, client servicing, and multi-territory delivery requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead global media supply chain operations across content ingest, localization, QC, servicing, delivery, documentation, and distribution readiness
  • Own the operating model for a global content pipeline supporting increasing volume, varied content formats, and evolving client and platform requirements
  • Ensure delivery commitments are met with speed, accuracy, and accountability across internal teams, external partners, and distribution workflows
  • Establish clear ownership, decision rights, escalation paths, and performance expectations across the function
  • Build a culture of high standards, operational discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Build scalable processes that can support new content formats, including vertical, short-form, creator content, podcast, and other emerging distribution models
  • Increase operational capacity through better systems, automation, AI-enabled workflows, vendor strategy, and process simplification rather than headcount expansion
  • Identify which work should be automated, which should be AI-assisted, and which requires human judgment or exception management
  • Drive measurable improvements in turnaround time, throughput, cost efficiency, delivery quality, and pipeline visibility
  • Redesign workflows to reduce manual coordination, duplicated effort, rework, and dependency on spreadsheets, email, and informal status tracking
  • Partner with Technology Operations, FoxNXT, Engineering, and other internal technology teams to evaluate and deploy practical AI and automation capabilities
  • Introduce AI-enabled solutions across areas such as metadata enrichment, automated QC support, intelligent transcoding, localization workflows, delivery readiness checks, and operational reporting
  • Develop clear standards for when AI-enabled workflows are production-ready, including quality controls, monitoring, exception handling, and escalation design
  • Assess vendors and platforms based on operational impact, integration readiness, scalability, cost, and speed to value
  • Develop build-versus-buy recommendations that balance near-term execution with long-term flexibility
  • Own pipeline performance across intake, asset readiness, localization, QC, documentation, client servicing, and delivery
  • Create visibility into pipeline health, blocked work, SLA risk, vendor performance, cost trends, and capacity constraints
  • Establish dashboards and management routines that enable faster decisions and clearer accountability
  • Drive library normalization, source profile standardization, and fulfillment readiness across distributed titles
  • Partner with Post Production, Legal, Sales, Finance, Technology, and FOX Entertainment Global to align delivery priorities, client expectations, compliance requirements, and operational tradeoffs
  • Lead the organization through a shift from manual task execution to workflow ownership, exception management, and technology-enabled operations
  • Set clear expectations for how the team will use AI, automation, data, and systems to manage greater volume and complexity
  • Build AI fluency and operational technology capability across the team
  • Develop leaders who can manage through change, make decisions with incomplete information, and improve the system rather than protect the status quo
  • Create a high-performance environment where adaptability, accountability, speed, and sound judgment are expected
  • Address capability gaps directly and build the team required for the future operating model
  • Own operational performance metrics, including cost, turnaround time, throughput, quality, delivery reliability, and service levels
  • Manage operational budgets, vendor relationships, rate structures, and cost controls in partnership with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and business stakeholders
  • Use data to evaluate vendor performance, forecast capacity needs, identify cost opportunities, and support smarter investment decisions
  • Communicate clearly with executive stakeholders on priorities, risks, tradeoffs, and transformation progress
  • Serve as the senior operational partner to Sales, Legal, Post Production, Technology, Finance, FOX Entertainment Global, and other key stakeholders
