About The Position

GolfNow is seeking a Vice President, Marketplace Growth to lead demand-side strategy for its marketplace and drive sustainable rounds growth. This role serves as the GM-aligned leader responsible for shaping the golfer value proposition, promotion strategy, and demand quality approach—balancing growth, customer trust, and contribution margin. This leader sits at the center of strategy and execution, translating customer insights and business priorities into clear activation frameworks that increase conversion quality, repeat engagement, and long-term marketplace health. The role plays a critical part in strengthening how GolfNow connects golfers to courses while scaling a high-quality, efficient growth engine. This is a hybrid role based in Orlando, FL, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and flexible work.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of leadership experience in growth, marketplace, consumer, or performance marketing within digital, e-commerce, travel, media, or subscription businesses
  • Proven ability to drive sustainable growth while balancing unit economics, customer trust, and long-term value creation
  • Deep expertise in customer segmentation, behavioral activation, offer strategy, and conversion optimization
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in experimentation, KPI development, and data-informed decision-making
  • Experience developing value propositions, messaging strategies, and go-to-market frameworks
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders in matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools and the ability to translate emerging capabilities into practical, high-impact workflows

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the demand-side growth strategy for the GolfNow marketplace, driving high-quality rounds growth and improved golfer lifetime value
  • Define and continuously refine the GolfNow golfer value proposition, ensuring GolfNow is easy to choose for both new and returning golfers
  • Lead GolfNow’s national promotion strategy and guardrails, influencing desired golfer behaviors while protecting marketplace trust and contribution margin
  • Establish frameworks for demand quality and lifecycle activation within GolfNow, increasing second-round conversion and early retention
  • Partner cross-functionally across GolfNow marketing, product, analytics, CRM/lifecycle, and partner teams to align growth initiatives with shared business goals
  • Champion an insight-led, data-driven approach to GolfNow marketplace growth, including experimentation, KPI design, and performance management
  • Identify and scale opportunities to apply AI-enabled tools across GolfNow growth workflows, improving personalization, decision-making, and operational efficiency
  • Drive strategic decisions across growth, contribution margin, and customer trust within the GolfNow marketplace, balancing short- and long-term outcomes
