About The Position
Lazard is seeking a Vice President to join the Healthcare Group in their San Francisco office. This role focuses on strategic transactions for companies within the biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and life science tools sectors. The San Francisco team is a key part of the Global Healthcare Group, collaborating internationally. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in the Life Science Tools and Diagnostics sectors.
Requirements
- At least three years or equivalent of investment banking experience with interest in Life Science Tools and Diagnostics
- Demonstrated leadership skills and be a team player with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
- Top performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
- Ability to support, manage, and empower junior bankers
- Strong client and presentation skills
- Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analyses and create models
- Prepare and create client presentations and marketing materials
- Interact with client senior executives
- Manage deal processes
- Provide guidance to and supervise Associates and Analysts
