About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Data & Analytics Engineer in New York, New York to work as a Business Intelligence Developer supporting FID and IED Bl Reporting & Analytics. This role will provide reporting and analytics solutions for Client and Sales Revenue, and deliver BI reporting and dashboard solutions based on client requests. The position involves designing, developing, and implementing efficient BI Reporting solutions in a dynamic financial services environment, providing technical solutions for business requirements including visualizations, look & feel, and functionalities. Responsibilities include performing unit testing for data quality, troubleshooting and analyzing data issues using SQL in various databases, utilizing Agile processes to provide technical solutions and automate reporting, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and adhering to project timelines while providing alternative technical solutions when needed. Telecommuting is permitted up to two days per week.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field of study
Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Senior Manager, Workspace Senior Consultant, or a related role
Requires five (5) years of experience with Qlikview; Tableau; SAP Business Objects; Greenplum; IBM DB2; Crystal Reports; Linux; Perl; Python; PL/SQL, Sybase; and ASP .NET.
Requires Two (2) years of experience with Power BI; Git Hub; MS SQL Server.

Responsibilities

Provide reporting and analytics solutions for Client and Sales Revenue.
Provide BI reporting and dashboard solutions based on clients' requests.
Design, develop, and implement efficient BI Reporting solutions in a dynamic financial services environment.
Provide technical solutions for businesses requirements, including visualizations, look & feel, and functionalities.
Perform unit testing to ensure high data quality prior to delivery of reports or dashboards.
Troubleshoot and analyze data issues using SQL in various databases.
Utilize understanding of Agile processes to provide technical solutions and to automate reporting and processes.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
Adhere to project timelines and provide alternative technical solutions when needed.
