About The Position

This role involves directing and managing a wide variety of quantitative analyses, developing investment scenarios and corresponding presentation/prospectus material, and leveraging the Firm’s capital markets, proprietary research and analytical capabilities to provide top-notch investment, risk advisory, merger & acquisition and capital markets services. The position also requires monitoring relevant transactions, capital market trends, and other important assessments in the financial sector. A key aspect of this role is working directly with Executive Directors and Managing Directors in all facets of business, including marketing, transaction evaluation and transaction processing, as well as overseeing and mentoring lower-level subordinates.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field, plus two (2) years of financial management or related analysis experience within the investment banking or finance industry.
• Experience in executing capital markets and M&A transactions.
• Performing financial research and analysis.
• Debt and equity offerings.
• Debt and equity transactions.
• Monitoring relevant transactions and market conditions.
• Creating client-specific financial models.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Managing or supervising junior level staff or team members within the investment banking sector.
• Knowledge of capital markets (public and private).
• Knowledge of S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg and FactSet.
• Experience using Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement accounts.
• Experience creating client and pitch presentations including marketing materials.
• SIE, and Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses.

• Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field, plus five (5) years of financial management or related analysis experience within the investment banking or finance industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including leverage buyout models, discounted cash flow, multiple valuation analysis, merger and acquisition accretion/dilution analysis and credit analysis for client and investor presentations.
• Develop investment scenarios and corresponding presentation/prospectus material, coordinated marketing for public private securities offerings, valuation analysis, business plans, and financial projections.
• Leverage the Firm’s capital markets, proprietary research and analytical capabilities to provide top-notch investment, risk advisory, merger & acquisition and capital markets services.
• Monitor relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry, regulatory, and economic information, and other important assessments in the financial sector.
• Work directly with Executive Directors and Managing Directors in all facets of business, including marketing, transaction evaluation and transaction processing, as well as oversee and mentor lower-level subordinates consisting of Analysts and Associates within the Investment Banking sector.
