The Vice President of Instruction & Chief Academic Officer has the comprehensive responsibility for the success of students in achieving their educational goals. The Vice President is responsible for educational policy, high-quality and relevant academic programs, as well as activities and initiatives in accordance with the College’s mission and goals, core values, policies, and priorities. Working collaboratively with the other College Vice Presidents and members of the President’s Cabinet, this individual provides leadership for instruction, accreditation, program review and continuous improvement, student success, as well as the development and evaluation of academic faculty and staff. The Vice President provides/oversees budget development and fiscal accountability within all areas of institutional instruction. PCC operates as a one-college model therefore, the Vice President provides oversight for all curriculum academic programs, all continuing education offerings, adult basic skills, institutional accreditations, transfer articulation agreements, high school dual enrollment, distance learning, and The Learning Commons.
