About The Position

Moatable is seeking a strategic, business-minded Vice President of Human Resources to lead its global HR function. This executive leadership role will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. The VP of HR will be responsible for developing and executing a people strategy that supports company growth while preserving its entrepreneurial culture. The role oversees all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, learning and development, payroll, compliance, immigration, and HR operations. The position requires partnering with leaders across the global portfolio to build scalable people programs, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure an exceptional employee experience. This role is for someone who enjoys operating strategically while remaining connected to the day-to-day realities of a fast-moving technology organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including executive-level leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR strategy in a high-growth technology or global organization.
  • Deep expertise across compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Experience leading global or multi-region HR organizations.
  • Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute a long-term people strategy aligned with Moatable's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Partner with executives to anticipate organizational needs and build scalable HR programs that support continued expansion.
  • Participate in annual business planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives across the organization.
  • Establish and track key people metrics and HR KPIs to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Lead global talent acquisition strategy for executive, leadership, and critical technical hiring.
  • Build and oversee leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs.
  • Design performance management processes that drive accountability, growth, and high performance.
  • Partner with leaders to improve organizational structure, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen company culture while supporting continued growth.
  • Develop competitive compensation philosophies and total rewards programs aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee annual compensation planning, incentive programs, equity administration, and performance review cycles.
  • Lead benefits strategy, vendor management, annual renewals, and retirement plan administration.
  • Oversee all HR operations including HR systems, compliance, employee records, and HR service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead employment-related risk management, investigations, policy development, and employee relations.
  • Partner with legal counsel on employment matters, immigration, regulatory compliance, and organizational risk.
  • Establish scalable HR policies, processes, and operating standards across global teams while balancing regional business needs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Human Resources team.
  • Build a high-performing HR organization focused on operational excellence and exceptional employee service.
  • Partner with managers across the business to strengthen leadership capability, improve decision-making, and resolve complex people challenges.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
