Reporting to the Managing Director & Global Head, Community Impact, the Vice President and Head of Community Impact, RBC Capital Markets Canada will manage RBC Capital Markets' citizenship agenda and community investment activities across Canada. This role sits at the intersection of financial services, social purpose, and stakeholder engagement - bringing together the firm's philanthropic ambitions and priorities, and employee engagement programs into a coherent, strategic, high-impact citizenship platform. The Vice President will serve as the primary steward of RBC Capital Markets' social impact strategy in Canada, managing the firm's participation in the RBC Foundation Canada and leading the design and execution of Capital Markets-specific citizenship programs. They will partner closely with the Client & Marketing Strategy group, Corporate Communications, and counterparts across RBC Wealth Management and Personal Banking, and Commercial Banking, as well as the Community Impact team at the Enterprise level. Operating within the context of Canada's most prominent financial institutions, this role requires an individual who can navigate the complexity of a large, matrixed organization while building genuine, lasting relationships with nonprofit partners, community leaders, and internal executives. The Vice President will bring a strong command of the Canadian philanthropic and regulatory landscape, including the laws governing charitable organizations and Canada Revenue Agency requirements for registered charities. This is a unique opportunity to further shape how RBC Capital Markets shows up as a corporate citizen in Canada - driving meaningful social impact, amplifying our brand reputation, and advancing our purpose of helping clients thrive and communities prosper.
