About The Position

We’re looking for an executive level partner leader to drive clarity, consistency and ambition to how Hitachi Vantara works with partners worldwide. This is a chance to build and shape—not simply run—our global partner function: setting the strategy, defining programmes that drive growth at scale whilst helping our regional teams turn strong execution into better partner and business outcomes. Global Partner Strategy & Program Leadership You’ll set a clear global direction for our partner business and redesign our partner programme for FY27. Working closely with regional direct sales & channel leaders, you’ll create a model that is consistent where it matters while giving local teams room to respond to their markets. You’ll also lead our global GSI business and strengthen the commercial approach to alliances. Driving Growth & Scale Through Partners Your focus will be on quality and outcomes rather than partner volume. You’ll simplify the ecosystem, improve partner relevance and productivity, and make smart choices about enablement, incentives and MDF investment. You’ll have the freedom to place meaningful bets and build routes to market that create sustainable revenue and profit. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence This is a highly visible role, representing the partner organisation on the CRO leadership team, whilst being the figurehead for the channel business representing HV to partner executives. You’ll work alongside HV leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Services, Finance and Operations, bringing people together around a shared plan. The best fit will be collaborative and consultative—someone who can lead through influence rather than build a separate global organisation. Governance, Performance & Insights You’ll bring a sharp commercial lens to the partner model—setting practical measures for revenue, profit, programme impact and return on investment. You’ll use insight to decide where to invest, create clear accountability and give leaders an honest view of what is working and what needs to change. Leadership & Capability Building You’ll bring focus and direction to talented global and regional teams setting out the roadmap for FY27 priorities. Alongside the operating model, you’ll strengthen partner enablement and advisory councils, encourage ownership and help teams measure success by outcomes—not activity.
