About The Position

Mercy For Animals seeks a Global Vice President of Corporate Impact to lead its global corporate impact strategy and drive campaigns that secure meaningful corporate commitments, hold companies accountable for implementation, and produce measurable improvements in animals’ lives. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this leader oversees the global corporate campaigns and engagement team and works closely with regional Managing Directors to align priorities, strengthen campaign capabilities, and maximize impact across regions. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on leadership, requiring sound judgment, disciplined execution, and a focus on results. The Vice President partners with the CEO to set measurable goals, prioritizes high-impact companies and opportunities, manages the corporate impact portfolio, and translates priorities into campaign plans with clear objectives, owners, milestones, budgets, and success measures. The role emphasizes verified changes in company practices and measurable animal impact, advances corporate welfare reforms, and assesses plant-forward and animal-protein-reduction initiatives where they align with strategy and can demonstrate meaningful impact. The position directs global corporate campaigns from target selection and engagement through negotiation, public pressure, escalation, commitment, and implementation. It establishes credible expectations for corporate commitments, monitors their implementation, identifies barriers, and responds when companies fail to meet obligations. The role also leads and develops a global team, collaborates with regional leadership and cross-functional teams, contributes to organizational strategy and resource allocation, builds movement partnerships, represents MFA externally, and oversees the global corporate impact budget and related grant-funded outcomes.
