TD Securities ("TDS") provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients through Global Transaction Banking ("GTB"), Corporate and Investment Banking ("CIB"), and Global Markets ("GM"). The firm works with clients around the world, focusing selectively and strategically on key global financial centers: Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, New York, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. GTB is a key growth business within TDS that provides the opportunity to make an impact with top tier organizations. We offer innovative solutions and treasury advisory services on large and complex liquidity, payments, and trade and working capital finance needs. The business constantly changes with macroeconomic conditions, unprecedented levels of innovation, interest rate environments, and Foreign Exchange ("FX") movements. Accordingly, GTB continues to invest and innovate to support our clients' evolving needs. GTB is comprised of three business lines: Trade & Working Capital ("TWC"), Corporate Cash Management ("CCM"), and Financial Institutions ("FI"), which are underpinned by dedicated support functions, including GTB Risk & Control, Product Management, Client Solutions, Data & Analytics, and Deposit Portfolio Management. TWC is made up of Global Core Trade Finance ("GCTF") and Structured Trade & Export Finance ("STEF"), which is comprised of Export & Agency ("EAF") Finance and Working Capital Solutions ("WCS"). Global Core Trade Finance (GCTF) clients principally include Fortune 500 and 100 companies with head offices located in North America and Europe, as well as key financial institutions. This role involves developing client-centric solutions to remove or reduce payment risk or facilitate working capital by employing traditional trade finance products (Standby Letters of Credit / Guarantees, Import Letters of Credit, Export Letters of Credit, or Documentary Collections) associated with our clients' domestic business needs or foreign sales and purchases. It also supports strategic foreign banks and their clients' needs in North America & UK and acts as a trusted partner to mitigate risks in our markets. The role works closely with internal TD internal partners to provide "One-TD" solutions to our clients.
