We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting to join our Client Activation Team. This role is located in Lake Mary, Fl. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Solid understanding of daily accounting systems processing, workflow architecture, automation, and information delivery. Ability to write and read requirements documentation, create and executive test plans and deployment, and understanding of workflow orchestration. Knowledge of accounting processes, static data administration and platform conversions is a plus. Proven experience with process modelling and simulations, scenario developments and model office implementation. Some project management experience is desirable. Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure with a track record of delivering against deadlines Must have a healthy appetite for building out functional expertise and knowledge and must be able to swiftly shift between independent work and collaborative tasks. Self-motivator with a strong work ethic, initiative, critical and strategic problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and must be able to quickly gather and analyze data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 7 plus years of experience in investment management and/or the financial services industry.
  • Strong Project Management experience is required.
  • Experience using Eagle or Invest One products or other major fund administration software is required.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills, the ability to work within teams and a proven track record of building strong relationships.
  • Flexibility to support market hours and do some after-hours work when necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of accounting processes, static data administration and platform conversions is a plus.
  • Some project management experience is desirable.
