About The Position

The Fund Administration team at Citco is core to the company's business, offering respected alternative asset and accounting services. As a core member of the Fund Accounting team, you will work with accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures. This role involves client relationship management, reviewing financial statements, acting as a liaison with clients, securing new business, collaborating with senior management on presentations, liaising with internal teams, visiting clients to evaluate service quality, overseeing the resolution of complex client issues, managing escalations and complaints, managing and training assigned Managers, reviewing departmental procedures, leading client calls, managing reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring risk assessment of funds, identifying issues and recommending solutions, managing work forecasting and allocation, and actively managing operational risk. You will also participate in departmental and company-wide projects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ Experience in financial services industry, particularly with hedge funds and/or investment companies
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA, CPA or CFA)
  • Extensive supervisory and managerial experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook
  • Demonstrated financial reporting/ analytical/organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work in a challenging, professional and deadline driven work environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance client relationships by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service/ product offering
  • Review monthly financial statements and reconciliation packages prepared by the staff
  • Act as a liaison with the client on matters relating to the preparation of the monthly reporting package
  • Leverage existing client relationship to secure new business, offering our products and services
  • Work in partnership with the Senior Vice President and Executive Management team to facilitate in presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Liaise internally with key functional teams to ensure awareness of key client requirements
  • Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities
  • Work in partnership with other Vice Presidents, oversee the resolution of complex client issues
  • Ensure strong emphasis on escalation and complaints management within the team and within the department
  • Manage, train and coach assigned Managers in the successful running of their teams
  • Review departmental procedures and policies and supervise Managers to ensure adherence to these procedures
  • Lead and initiate client video conference calls
  • Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines; ensure delivery in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration
  • Identify issues/concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any/all high-risk projects
  • Ensure fluid execution and strategy for work forecasting and allocation
  • Actively manage operational risk – monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues to external clients and executive management team
  • Actively participate in departmental and company-wide projects
