About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Asset Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you’ll make an impact by enhancing, maintaining, and supporting a small portfolio of applications. You will architect and develop web applications, implementing full-stack solutions using C# and the .NET platform. You will build interactive user interfaces using Blazor (WebAssembly or Server) and Razor components, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience. You will design and create RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core to power client-side functionality. You will implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. You will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a portfolio of successful end-to-end projects.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies, preferably SQL Server
  • Experience with version control systems: particularly Git.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in full-stack development.
  • Proven expertise in C# and the .NET Core / .NET platform is essential.
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with Blazor (WebAssembly and/or Server) Or the Angular framework and component-based architecture.
  • Experience with front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript, for Blazor integration.
  • Proficiency in database design and management with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Understanding of ORM frameworks, especially Entity Framework Core.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Solid experience with version control, particularly Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with noSQL databases (i.e. mongo) nice to have but not required
  • Experience with SSIS/SSRS and/or Pentaho a nice to have but not required
