About The Position

Midwest Compressor Systems is seeking a Vice President of Field Services to set the strategy, strengthen the leadership team and scale field operations as our fleet and customer base grows. This executive will lead through the Director of Field Services and create a consistent, high-performing service organization across multiple operating regions. This position reports to the CEO and serves as a member of the senior leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of a critical operating function—not simply maintain it. The successful leader will have direct influence on customer experience, equipment uptime, organizational growth and the development of the next generation of field leaders.

  • Demonstrated ownership of departmental financial performance, operating and capital budgets, and scalable growth strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of field operations, equipment reliability, workforce deployment and customer support in oil and gas, compression or a related industrial service environment.
  • Executive level communication, negotiation and decision-making skills, with the ability to turn financial and operating data into action.
  • Ability to travel 30%-40%, including overnight travel.

  • Serve as executive sponsor for strategic customers, major service commitments and complex customer escalations.
  • Advance safety, technical capabilities, predictive maintenance, field service technology and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to align capacity, customer commitments, workforce plans and equipment reliability.
