About The Position

The Vice President, Events Management for Lenders One will own the strategy and execution of the cooperative’s full event portfolio, including flagship conferences, executive roundtables, webinars, and industry presence, driving member engagement across banks, lenders, mortgage companies, and credit unions. This role will lead end-to-end event delivery, marketing, and sponsorship strategy to enhance brand visibility, strengthen partner relationships, and deliver measurable value to members, while managing budgets, vendors, and performance metrics. As a critical lever for growth and engagement, this leader will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Member Programs to position events as a core driver of the Lenders One value proposition and competitive differentiation in the mortgage industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in event marketing and/or event production, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder events (in-person and virtual).
  • Strong event management, budgeting, and vendor negotiation experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with or presenting to executive/C-level audiences.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event marketing strategy and annual roadmap aligned to member engagement, growth, and partner value.
  • Oversee all Lenders One events, including the annual Summit, Executive Roundtables, webinars, peer groups, and industry conference presence.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of events—from concept and planning to onsite delivery and post-event insights (venue sourcing, speakers, logistics, execution).
  • Build and execute event communication strategies (email, digital, social, app engagement) to maximize attendance and impact.
  • Design programming that brings together banks, lenders, and credit unions for networking, education, and collaboration.
  • Create compelling sponsorship and partner experiences that drive value, engagement, and revenue opportunities.
  • Own budgets, forecasting, and ROI while negotiating contracts with venues and vendors.
  • Define KPIs (attendance, engagement, satisfaction, sponsor success) and continuously improve event strategy using data and feedback.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Member Programs teams to align events with broader cooperative goals.
