About The Position

The Equity Structuring group (EQS) within Private Wealth Management (PWM) is seeking a Vice President for the Single Stock Structuring team. This role focuses on equity derivative structuring and capital markets transactions, aiming to drive the growth of the global equity derivatives franchise. The Vice President will act as a strategic partner to private wealth advisors and institutional clients, leading complex transaction execution and platform innovation. This position offers high visibility, cross-functional leadership, and the opportunity to directly impact revenue generation. The team works with clients who have concentrated single stock positions to deliver bespoke solutions, considering investment objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, tax sensitivity, estate planning, time horizon, and market opportunities. Discussions often occur before and after significant corporate events like IPOs and M&A. The role involves marketing and structuring equity derivative and capital markets transactions, primarily focused on monetization and hedging strategies, in partnership with private wealth advisors, their clients, and their outside tax and legal advisors. Responsibilities span the entire transaction lifecycle: marketing, client education, structuring and pricing, execution, and ongoing client dialogue. Additional duties include creating presentation materials, working on client prospecting and transaction sourcing projects, and collaborating with engineering colleagues to build tools that enhance workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 or more years of experience in financial markets
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to think independently and analytically within a defined framework
  • Motivated team player who takes initiative and has ability to work autonomously
  • High degree of personal accountability and ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • SIE, Series 7 and 63 required (must be obtained within three months of employment)

Responsibilities

  • Market and structure equity derivative and capital markets transactions.
  • Develop solutions primarily focused on monetization and hedging strategies.
  • Partner with private wealth advisors, their clients, and their client's outside tax and legal advisors.
  • Work on transactions during all phases of the life cycle including: marketing, client education, transaction structuring and pricing, execution and ongoing client dialogue.
  • Market solutions by creating presentation materials.
  • Work on projects related to client prospecting and transaction sourcing.
  • Partner with engineering colleagues to build tools that enhance these workflows.
  • Partner with global cross-functional teams to drive the strategic objectives of the Single Stock Structuring Group.
  • Lead and execute sophisticated equity derivative and capital market transactions.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator between Private Wealth Advisors, Cash Trading, Equity Derivatives, and key control partners (Legal, Risk, and Credit) to mitigate risk and optimize deal structures.
  • Develop high-impact, client-facing advisory materials.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to educate ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, family offices, and internal partners on complex structuring solutions and market opportunities.
  • Synthesize complex market data into actionable intelligence.
  • Deliver executive-level business updates, trend analyses, and macroeconomic insights to internal leadership and external clients.
  • Oversee revenue tracking, pipeline management, and trade lifecycle governance, ensuring operational excellence and robust risk management across all single-stock transactions.
  • Champion the expansion of our structuring platform.
  • Collaborate with technology, trading, and product stakeholders to design and implement next-generation digital tools that enhance execution efficiency and client experience.
