Vice President - Equity Capital Markets
About The Position

Lazard's financial advisory business provides strategic and financial advice to clients worldwide on matters such as mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, capital structure, and capital raising. The Equity Capital Markets team specifically offers conflict-free advice on equity-focused issues, equity capital-raising alternatives, and deal execution, covering traditional IPOs, direct listings, follow-ons, PIPEs, equity-linked convertible bonds, block trades, and at-the-market (ATM) offerings. This role offers Vice Presidents an opportunity to work on small deal teams, gain exposure to senior bankers, and advise clients on strategic assignments.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Equity Capital Markets, specifically in the Americas
- Demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
- Ability to support, manage and empower junior bankers
- Fluency in the use of AI tools
- Strong client and presentation skills
- Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior bankers to deliver best-in-class advice on equity transactions
- Manage processes across various phases from development through deal execution
- Prepare client presentations, meeting materials, analysis, and memoranda
- Interact with client senior executives
- Track market developments and transactions
- Provide guidance to and supervise Associates and Analysts
