About The Position

Tuxera is a global leader in quality-assured data storage, networking, and encryption software. Our technologies power billions of devices and systems where failure is not an option — from embedded platforms and automotive systems to enterprise data infrastructure and cloud services. As we accelerate our growth in enterprise storage, we are looking for a Vice President, Enterprise Storage Business Unit to join Tuxera’s Leadership Team. This is a senior, high-impact role with full ownership of one of our fastest-growing business areas — and the opportunity to shape the future of enterprise file services alongside leading cloud providers, storage vendors, and data-driven enterprises worldwide. About the role As VP, Enterprise Storage Business Unit, you will lead the business end-to-end with full P&L responsibility. You will set the strategy, define priorities, and drive execution across product management, R&D, go-to-market alignment, customer success, and operational performance. Your portfolio includes Tuxera’s in-market, high-performance Fusion SMB server product—trusted by enterprise and cloud customers globally for performance, scalability, reliability, and production readiness—alongside Fusion NFS, our upcoming server offering on the path to market for customers who want to help shape what “production-ready” looks like next. This role calls for a general manager mindset: a leader who combines commercial drive, technical credibility, and operational discipline — and who can build a scalable business while strengthening long-term customer trust. This position is based at Tuxera’s HQ in Espoo, Finland, or in the U.S. (Dallas, Texas, or Seattle, Washington).

Requirements

  • Proven experience owning and scaling a business or major business unit, including P&L responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise storage and data management, software-defined storage, cloud-native architectures, and high-performance file systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to align product management, R&D, and customer-facing teams toward clear outcomes.
  • Track record of scaling enterprise software businesses and driving sustainable global growth.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships and managing complex enterprise customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate technology direction into business results.
  • Structured, metrics-driven leadership style with a focus on accountability and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Enterprise Storage Business Unit end-to-end, with accountability for strategy, execution, revenue growth, and profitability.
  • Define and execute the long-term vision and roadmap, aligning product strategy, R&D investment, and market opportunity.
  • Lead a cross-functional global organization spanning product management, R&D, customer support, sales enablement, business development, and marketing.
  • Drive P&L management including forecasting, budgeting, investment prioritization, and KPI-based performance tracking.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that position Fusion as a leading choice for high-performance, scalable, and production-grade file services.
  • Build and grow strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, storage software vendors, and enterprise platform providers.
  • Engage directly with customers — from executive stakeholders to technical decision-makers — to drive adoption, retention, and long-term success.
  • Ensure operational excellence across product quality, delivery predictability, support effectiveness, and lifecycle management.
  • Represent Tuxera externally in key industry engagements, partner forums, and customer events as the executive owner of our enterprise storage vision.
  • Lead and inspire a seasoned, industry-veteran engineering organization with deep enterprise storage expertise—translating hard-won technical credibility into products customers can bet their businesses on.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and Leadership Team on company-wide strategy, resourcing, and execution priorities.
  • Lead the evolution of the business toward higher production readiness, certifiability, and durable customer trust.
