About The Position

Oversee the end-to-end operational lifecycle of ontologies, from deployment to maintenance. Develop and manage processes for ontology versioning and quality assurance. Partner with software engineers and data architects to ensure ontologies are scalable and aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards. Monitor ontology usage, performance, and adoption. Evaluate, recommend, and stand up operational tools, automation solutions, and best practices to streamline ontology management.

Requirements

5 years of experience in data operations, data engineering, or a related technical role
Experience managing data models, metadata, or semantic assets in production environments
Familiarity with data governance and version control processes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey subject matter expertise to non-technical audiences
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize conflicting deadlines, and adapt to ambiguity

Nice To Haves

Experience working with ontologies, taxonomies, or knowledge graphs in an operational context
Familiarity with graph databases, data integration tools, and cloud data platforms
Experience supporting AI/ML or analytics pipelines in a large enterprise environment
Knowledge of financial industry data standards and regulatory requirements
