Vice President Data Analytics & Management
About The Position
At the enterprise level, the Vice President Data Analytics & Management is responsible for the effective management of organizational data assets and for designing and implementing data management strategies and processes for acquiring, organizing, storing, integrating, and maintaining data. The role establishes data management strategy, governance policies, procedures, and practices to support effective use of data throughout its lifecycle and oversees implementation of data management tools and technologies. The position collaborates with stakeholders to understand data requirements. The role defines and drives organization-wide data governance and management strategies, directs development of dashboards for clinical, operational, and financial departments, manages tracking and reporting of corporate and regional goals, oversees personnel responsible for data management and visualization, and develops and maintains the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Duties may vary and other responsibilities may be assigned based on organizational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences and Analytics or a related field, or an associate’s degree and 15+ years of Data Science leadership experience.
- 15+ years of experience in leadership positions, including managing staff.
- Knowledge of data governance and management principles.
- Ability to manage and develop staff.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Data Science.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in Data Science.
- Experience with the Microsoft Fabric Environment and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive data governance and management strategies for the entire organization.
