We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Analyst & BI to join our team. This role is located in Berwyn, PA or New York, NY.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Typically 5-8 years of experience and prior financial services industry experience is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Developing Oracle SQL, Python, and Perl.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data management and governance practices, ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with Bert is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies by utilizing advanced analytical tools and methodologies to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
  • Strengthen data governance by defining data quality controls, documenting end-to-end lineage, and supporting the creation and maintenance of data contracts for key datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities, providing insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by establishing robust data governance frameworks and conducting regular audits.
  • Lead initiatives to improve data management processes, enhance data accessibility and usability for stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative data solutions by staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
