As a Vice President in Corporate Finance Advisory, focusing on Capital Structure and Financing Advisory, you will advise corporate and sponsor clients on optimizing capital structure, capital allocation, and capital raising efforts. This includes advising on M&A, corporate separations, refinancing, and other capital markets-related projects. The team aims to create market-agnostic solutions and works across various corporate capital structures and products, from investment-grade debt to stressed company deals, and from straight debt to preferred equity in both public and private markets. Vice Presidents gain exposure to all aspects of financing transactions, from origination to execution, and develop corporate and investor relationships.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably on either a debt capital markets, leveraged finance or hybrid equity capital markets desk of a bulge bracket bank, a hedge fund or other asset manager
  • Knowledge of private capital investors, market structure, new issue products, corporate finance and the trends in the market
  • Comfort in pitching ideas and deals with buyside accounts
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Factset, and AI tools

Responsibilities

  • Advise public and private companies on optimization of capital structure, capital allocation decisions and activities, interaction with the capital markets (public and private) and overall financing and capital structure evaluation activities
  • Stay abreast of recent market trends and deal structures in the leveraged finance, investment grade debt and equity markets, both public and private
  • Develop relationships with key corporate and sponsor advisory clients
  • Negotiate documentation and deal terms with investors
  • Interact with senior management and clients
  • Mentor junior bankers and help guide career development
